The “Great Beechwood” Cabin
The Great Beechwood Cabin was the first to appear in the trees of Fontaine-Châtel.
It is the current favorite for marriage proposals (three and counting as of September 2010).
The Great Beechwood features an exceptional orientation, with a magnificent view of the plain and the surrounding valley.
It also features a unique terrace detached from the cabin and situated along a central branch 8 meters about the ground.
This genuinely cozy cabin, with its fuchsia anti-mosquito net, is a favorite among visitors.
The “Cradle” Cabin
The Cradle Cabin was the last to open in 2010. It is currently the only cabin to feature an “athletic” entrance. Visitors need to scale a tree and cross a suspended bridge to get to the cabin. Not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo… You won’t see the forest floor from the Cradle’s terrace, which mixes with the trees 12 meters above the ground.
You’ll exchange whispers with the stars and rub elbows with the buzzard couple nesting nearby.
The Cradle Cabin is for adventurers. It must be earned!
